OH…NO…ONLINE CLASSES.

Welcome back readers,

As we all know that because of this pandemic everyone is having online classes. For me, these online classes are like a punishment. This is because online classes are so boring. No one would like to sit alone in the room and listen to the teacher and on top of that in online classes we are not even allowed to talk.! Honestly, I love going to school because of two reasons and the two reasons are: 1. We would get to learn new things and, 2. We would play and have fun with our friends. Now, you must be thinking that this blog is going to be about the advantages and disadvantages of online classes but, no you are wrong. This blog is going to be about how we can make the online classes interesting and fun. So, let’s begin!!!!!!!!!

The most important thing in online class is that the student and the teacher both should be in the mood to learn and teach. This is very important because if the teacher doesn’t take interest and teach, then even the students wont take interest and learn the subject. Now let’s begin with the ways to make the online classes interesting.

• Cameras should be kept on. I suggest that all the cameras of the students and the teacher also should be kept on because when you can see each others faces, the class seems more fun and interactive.
• Involvement of students should be encouraged. Teachers should keep on asking questions in between so that the student is focused on the subject and learning. By doing this even the teachers get to know more about the student.
• Teachers can make the students play quiz after every chapter is over. With this the students will get the enthusiasm of competing against the opponent group and they will also find the chapters interesting.
• Students can show their talents. This is happening in our school also. So, our English teacher used to give a chance to every student to show what their unique talent is. Every child would its turn once in a month and then, he/she would showcase their unique talent through a PPT, a drawing or a speech. With this even the other students and the teacher would get to know more about the person and his talents.
• The teachers can play with the students once in a while. So, for example, the class is done with the studies for that day, and some more time is left. Then, the teachers can insist the students to play some game virtually. For example, we can play atlas, antakshari, memory game, etc.

Now that you are aware of the ways we can make online classes interesting, let me share one of my incident which I and my classmates experienced during our physics class. So here we go!

Our physics teacher was teaching about sound. She was talking about the sounds we hear in the environment. All of us were quietly listening and then suddenly we heard the sound of a crow chirping. We all were wondering from where the sound was coming and then when we got to know that it was nonother than our physics teacher, we all laughed so much that our stomachs started aching. We all had a fun time that day.
